Industry CSI Program
The National Marine
Manufacturers Association and member companies have developed the Marine
Industry Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) Program to support the industry's
goal of raising the bar on customer satisfaction.
The objective of this program is
to help manufacturers and dealers improve quality and understand how they are
doing relative to their competitors. Information
is therefore confidential regarding individual ratings for each company and
will not be released to other manufacturers or to the public.
In other words, only you will know how you are doing relative to other
companies in your reporting group. The
reports and feedback you receive on your products through the NMMA CSI program
will help you address opportunities for improvements internally and privately.
The members that participated in
established the CSI Program and the CSI Steering Committee followed a rigorous
selection process in establishing vendor criteria for this program that
included reviewing experienced consumer research companies.
You can rest assured that their choice, The Avala Marketing Group,

The NMMA CSI Program is also
designed to be flexible. Some
manufacturers within the industry already have comprehensive programs to
measure the quality of their own products and dealerships.

participate in the industry CSI program at a reduced cost.
For the companies that currently have no CSI programs:
the NMMA program provides a cost-effective means to meet their internal
customer service and quality measurement needs.
